Well, this is it folks! The end of the season is finally upon us, and the last day of Blackfishing is finally here. We ended up finishing the season recording water temperatures at 50-52 degrees varying depending on surface weather. This past week, we were pretty fortunate with weather, getting out every day except for Thanksgiving! gorgeous weather this late in November is hard to complain about, no matter the bite… That being said, the bite is still on! Hermit crabs have been the hot ticket item for these pickier fish, we have been getting more quantity over quality this late in the season, but the fish are still there and there are still some big blackfish lurking around in the Sound. Unfortunately, CT Blackfishing season is closed, and the season is officially over. Thank you to everyone who contributed to Twenty4seven Guide service and see you in the spring!
