Fishing Report 5/31-6/6

The striped bass fishing has remained pretty consistent over the past couple of weeks. After doing some work to the “Pale Rider” and launching, Twenty4seven is now operational and open for bookings this summer. As the water temperature increases in the river the bass fishing continues to heat up as well… Bass are not picky blowing up on live bunker as well as topwater lures. Earlier on we struggled fishing with live bait as the fish were too timid to swallow a bunker. Every day they get bigger and more aggressive… get in on it while you can, it wont last all summer. Black sea bass fishing has also remained very consistent. We have been limiting out quickly on knot head sea bass as well as a strong showing from weakfish this past week. Happy to see them here as they are a great tasting and fun fish to catch. Hopefully with the expected nice weather this week the bass bite will continue to get better as well as the bottom fishing bite. High pressure system makes for a beautiful day to get out on the boat, book your trips while the fishing is great!
