The river has yet again produced some great fish this week as it has been. High pressure system for a majority of the week and great weather left the fishing pretty consistent again as well. Definitely starting to see an increase in average size of fish as the week went on. The ticket item for us has been strictly free swimming live bunker in the shallow water. This season has presented us with the difficult challenge of strictly using circle hooks to live bait fish for striped bass. Hook up ratio has been much lower. Some of the bass have a hard time getting the bait down, but every once in awhile we got a big roller that would come up and wolf down a bunker. Fish are getting more aggressive and competitive as well. It is always cool to see bass compete with one another for one bunker. Hopefully the bite continues to stay hot and the bass keep getting bigger! Check out our social media pages for more frequent updates and pictures! @TWENTY4SEVENGUIDE
